Thompson 1928A1 submachine gun manufactured by Savage with Thompson bullet logo and "Tommy Gun" designation on the top of the receiver. This is the beautiful early wartime Thompson prized by American and British soldiers. Its finned barrel, Cutts compensator, high quality Lyman rear sight and 50 round drum magazine gave wartime soldiers the feeling of gangster years. This Thompson has been re-blued and comes in a reproduction FBI hard case with 5 original Auto-Ordnance magazines, WWII Auto-Ordnance Bridgeport 50-round drum, oil can, long brass cleaning rod and original WWII sling.
